My 64 F250 has a 26 axle.
My 65 F250 has a B4 axle.
What type of gearing do these axles have ? Are they interchangeable ? Which one will help lower highway RPM ?

26 = Dana 60 / 4.88-1 / Non Limited Slip / 5200 lb Axle Capacity
4.10's will give a little bit better fuel mileage, and the top end will increase.
But these trucks are shaped like bricks, so don't expect anything better than 12 City / 15 Highway with the 4.10's. My 65 F100 with a 3.00-1 gets around 12 City. My 2006 ***** (no, it's not a Chevy) with a 2.94-1 rear axle ratio and a 5 speed automatic overdrive tranny gets WORSE city mileage than my F100 does. Despite the better aerodynamics, weight is the factor. The 2006 weighs over 1500 lbs more....not counting the sasquatched sized driver.

Thank guys. Not so much worried about fuel econ. At 65 mph the engine was screaming . I put some taller tires on her and I keep it at 60. Don't have to drive that far. Just trying to keep the stock 352 from flying apart.

At a stock condition, I don't think you have to worry about the 352 coming unglued. It is burning a lot of gas turning high rpms though. If you can keep gas in it, it will run all day at 3000-3500 rpms. Keeping gas in it will be the problem.
I have a 3.00 gear in my truck and it turns 2050 at 55 mph.
