if any one has been looking at them- i would call it a real decent system.
however it is the only exhaust on these trucks i have ever installed so i have nothing to compare to.
no problems with install at all. everything fit perfectly with the exception of a couple dings on the ends from shipping i assume. i had to straighten a tad so the pipes would slip together
i replaced all clamps with 4 inch strap style clamps. strap clamps are purtty! and they make it easy to pull the muffin later and replace with a straight pipe. no rattles, no issues so far!
muffler kinda looks like a flowmaster.
i love it! engine seems to have really freed up/relaxed and so far, well over 2 MPG better!!! really lovin that!
Congrats. I'm still mulling over all my exhaust options as I let my play money accumulate (having just depleted it again with my in-tanks and fuel lift pump install).
yup--i know about the play money--
haven't decided what's next....i think DP tuner.
whats one of those cost with 4 or 5 tunes on it?
i think i'm thinking of the ones from Jody????
I always stay stock till the temp gauge moves off of the cold mark.. then I run 80 econo most of the time..when I'm moving campers I use 60 tow and in the bigger climbs I use the 40 tow..120 race I have only used 3 or 4 times..my Trans just cant take it..high idle i use alot in the winter or when my truck will be at idle for a while..helps warm up faster and keeps it warm in the winter..we get 30 to 40 below here alot in jan and feb..in the summer its great to keep the AC blowing cold...your going to love it..yes Jody and diane at http://www.dp-tuner.com/
do you hot-shot trailers?? as in commercial business?
no privet owners...the dealers don't pay crap..I live in northern new Hampshire and to get a camper in Indiana pays $1200. with fuel prices the way they are over half will be used in fuel..
i hear ya--it's a constant struggle for us--
we finally had to give up our "authority" and leased onto a company for the fuel breaks and fuel surcharges that i couldn't seem to get when we were on our own.
i pick up an extra 30 cents per mile just in fuel here...
of course rates this year are crap!
only thing saving us this year is logistics(pads, ramps, bars, etc)
have a lot of calls asking to move a small dozer and back hoe's along with farm tractors and machines..I have been thinking about getting a goose neck...time will tell....
i see your from FLA..i lived in st cloud for 5 years way back when..still have a uncle and father there..my mom lives in port richy.
