Heres the story from when the problems started. This is my cousins truck- it is a 2000 F250 7.3 automatic. The truck was running fine. He ran out of diesel the other day, so I took him some, ofcourse it took a couple cranks for the truck to start but it did, ran good for like a week. He called me on tuesday and told me his fuel pump was bad. So they replaced that, but hes saying that it runs ok till it hits 50mph then it start hesitating and bucking. The sad thing is he work for International as a deisel mechanic apprentice, no one there can figure out whats wrong. No codes come up so they say everything is ok. So im writing to you guys because ya'll have always been able to help me out with my trucks.
He has a superchip, he always has it on the second or highest HP setting. He drive the truck like a nascar. I've warned him not to the truck like a race car, and advised him to drive it like a diesel truck.
Im not sure of any more info yall would need but if yall need something else let me know.
Thanks in advance for the help,
Gabriel

Sound like he might have got the in tank screen gunked up when he ran out of fuel.Do a search for the hutch mod (I think thats the one) a lot of guy use it.
Thanks for the replys guys. He told me he dropped the tank last Sunday and the pickup screen was clean. Im going to print what you guys have written here, give it to him and tell him to check everything you all have said, and to drop the tank again and make sure that screen is clean---again!
By the way where is the TPS located? I'm assuming that is the throttle position sensor, correct?
thanks guys

BTW there is a big screen on the bottom of the pickup foot (that he probably checked) but the little plastic chamber about 1/4 of the way up has 2 smaller screens.
