Anybody running the fabtech 6 inch lift for the 97-03 f150 with bigger than the recommended 315/75/r16. If so what backspacing do your rims have and how much clearance do you have between the upper ball joint and the rim/tire. I wish to run 325/80/16s (37s) with the 6inch lift and 3 inch body lift on a 97 f150 4x4. If anyone is running this or bigger please let me know of any other problems you encountered. thanks.
i have a 2000 f150 with the fabtech 6 inch, my wheels are 17s with i believe 5 inches of backspacing..i dont really remember what it is, and i have 35s. Even with just 35s i had to do some trimming to keep the front tires from rubbing the back of the inside of the wheel well in turns, but with another three inches of body lift you should be good to go even with 37s, a small amount of trimming might be required, but its on the inside of the wheel well and you cant see it. that should be a sufficently sick looking truck though!
