fuel filter

i canged my fuel filter today and i started it up and it started spraying out fuel everywhere then i tightened it up it stopped but it is still dripping a little, any suggestions?

Theres an o-ring around the filter lid. Ive forgot it before and it made a mess, or if the other one stays on the bowl and you have 2 o-rings. If thats not it, the o-rings in the drain lever can wear out and cause a leak.

The filter o-ring must be beveled side up when you install it or it will leak.

Other than that, did you happen to buy a Napa fuel filter lid? Those never seal right.
