Come to think of it... I have a feeling I saw your rig on the 30th of June on I-40, heading east near Seligman... early afternoon sometime.
I remember seeing it (I was heading west), would have turned around and had a coffee with you, but I was pressed for time, and no doubt you were too.
I wrote it down in my book, because it looked like your truck and fiver (and they look distinctive), but wasn't sure.
Was it?
I was down there in the Flagstaff area for a week during that period of time. I took that route home, but we pulled out on the 28th and by the 30th I was in Washington. I stayed in Munds Park RV park where my wife's aunt has a park model. She spends the summers there to escape the S. Arizona heat and we were down there for a visit.
If you are positive on the 30th, then it could not have been me.
It was definately the 30th... oh well, I thought it was you, but someone else has exactly the same fiver, and an F450/F550 with the same paint as yours.
I brought along 3 cows, a briefcase full of Australian peso's and a slightly mischeavious and horny sheep as a deposit...
And I'm still cleaning their deposits out of the back of the Rover...couldn't you at least have let them crap on the plane before you disembarked?
Truly, it was nice to meet you and escort you around SF, it was as much fun for me as it was for you. (Especially since I got to play hookey from work for two days!)
Looking forward to my upcoming trip to Melbourne (whenever that may be!) Glad you had a good trip, but it's always kinda nice to come home, isn't it?
