First Arnold said it :)

Now I get to

I'll be back.

Just a short explanation of the last month.

After a very difficult decision of taking a leave of absense from FTE Administration in March,I have returned to my duties.I requested to Ken to deactivate my admin rights so I could avoid allowing a personal crisis from showing up in my FTE duties.
Although, I have occasionally managed to take some time as regular user.
Let's face it, for me to go cold turkey from FTE would have had disasterous results.
At this time I feel it was the right thing to do.

Some of you may have asked what was going on with me.

Well, The middle of March was a very diffcult time for me with all the responsibilites I had.

1) I considered FTE a Major responsibility for me. Making sure that an administrator was always around. It never occured to me that I was setting myself up for a Major blow-out which of course did end up happening.

2) Taking care of Michelle because of a step backward in her medical rehabilitation.

3) Dealing with a front yard that looks awful from being dug up last Septenber (Snow was good for something ) & I was getting complaints from our neighbors.

4) My Dad had become ill again & lives 80 miles away.

5) My Cousin in England was told he only had a few months to live.... he died in less than 2 weeks. This without me being able to talk with him or even send a audio cassette to share my feelings with him. This guy was an amazing mechanic on foreign autos. He died a couple of weeks ago at 56.

6) Medication.
I was having problems with side-effects from medications. During the course of the last month I had discussions with Eric (Torque1st) and Ken (Webmaster) to say in touch with what was transpiring in my life. These two truly are friends.

Suffering 3 months of Pnemonia & Bronchitis didn't help either,

I would have returned last week but as some of you may know my late Mother's car (which I have had for 4 1/2 years) was written off after a young male driver didn't stop at the stop sign. This happened on a secondary highway 2 miles north of where we live. It was everything I could do to prevent Michelle getting injured by him hitting the passenger door of our car.

By sheer instinct I was able to control a skidding car to get the front fender to take the hit instead. We got hit on the opposite side of the highway from where he came from & we ended up in the opposite ditch from the way we were travelling.
I don't take damage, theft or things like this very well.

I can safely say though that because of my ability one person or another wasn't killed or injured majorly. As it was the kid wasn't wearing a seatbelt.

It turned out to be a test, that being how will my handling a major predicament without freaking out.

I made some traffic related posts last week that may have looked intense. I am now feeling somewhat back to normal and hope to be okay for a while

I now look forward to meeting as many FTE Moderators as possible at the National Meet in KC.

Dennis

Welcome Back, I was wondering why you were a 'Post Fiend" instead of 'Administrator"

Good to have you back I missed you covering my back in the 73-79 forum. There just isn't enough of me to go around in there. I even wanted to make you my co-mod if you weren't coming back to your admin. duties.
Glad to have you back, your info in that forum is priceless. I do appreciate you watching the forum even when you didn't have your Super Powers.
Welcome back buddy,
Jimmy

Thanks Everyone.
Today I finally heard from the Insurance company of the guy that hit me.

They asked me what I would like to receive for the Buick.
I told them considering the magnitude of the situation,I wouldn't settle for less that $5000.00 for property damage.

Let's see where this goes now
