Cps

I have an extra CPS in the glove box. Is mine located on the front of the engine somewhere on passenger side? 97 F350 PSD. Also, it takes a 10mm to get off, right? If you're on the road and it goes out do you get to it from top or under truck?

Thanks!

Just to the passenger side of the lowest pulley, 10mm and I've only done it from under. You might need a screwdriver/prybar to get it to come out once the bolt is out. Careful not to strip the bolt head.

yep 10mm bolt head. a 1/4 drive ratchet and a 2 inch extension with a deep well socket is what i have. its located right around the crank pulley at about the 10 oclock position. It would be best to get some never sieze and pull the bolt out so its not stuck when your stuck. also will help you get familiar with in incase its raining and dark when it goes out and the wife and kids are with you.
