Talking Anotherone bites the dust!

I had to tell SOMEONE the Wife doesnt care! Well, I finally broke down and decided to go with what everyone on this board talks about-------------This is another one of those bragging threads. I ordered my D.P tuner today!!!! I was praying that they would be able to overnight it to me, I was willing to pay the extra $$ but they wont have the over boost anilater in stock (I spelled that wrong?) until Monday. I ordered the No start, high idle, 60 tow, 80 econo, 120 race and the mack daddy 140 SMOKE, with the Blue LED, ! I cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never even seen a D.P tuner, let alone ride in a truck with one! I have rode in a ford 6.0 with the Bully Dog system , WOW that truck ate my luch by about 3 truck lengths in the 1/4. I hope the D.P is comparable, everyone say's this is (D.P) the programmer/chip to have, we will soon see. Next thing I will probably have to buy is a tranny!!!! Now I can get rid of the Superchip 80hp. I am going to leave the banks six gun in for monitoring purposes, Thats about the only thing I like about the six gun.
I wont be able to sleep until it arrives!

My wife just called me. Mine came in the mail at 10:52 am Mountain Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be like an eternity from now till I get home about 7:30pm tonight. I'm sure you will all here from me in the morning.

There goes the MPG for a while. I need to burn up the rest of the tread on my tires too, because I'm getting new 19.5" with G124's in two weeks.

Does life get any better than this???? If it does, it must be illegal

Happy for you, I ordered mine about 20 mins ago. 40 tow, 60 tow, 80 econo, 140 smoke, But I don't think I will get it soon, they are going to the "truck feast" till the 23rd. Like you, can't wait.

You will not be sorry! I went from Banks Stinger to DP-Tuner and wondered why I waisted my money on Banks! But I have to tell you, the Monster exhaust from Banks is the bomb! It was easy to install, it's 4" Mandrel bent from start to finish and the 4" down-pipe helps me keep my EGT's down, straight through muffler and 5" SS tip. The funniest part of the install was trying to fish out the factory crimped down-pipe it wouldn't come out there was not enough room between the exhaust manifold and transmission brace. So after looking at the size of those bolts holding the transmission in place, I thought this is a good job for a sawsall, yep that factory down-pipe cut like butter.

Thanks for the info on the Ex, I still have the stock ex with straight pipe. Now I know to not fool around with the down pipe, cut it!

Oh it's a lot of smoke! You'll be happy. You might start looking at a ATS turbo housing and a BTS transmission. The turbo housing will take care of all your surge that you WILL experience w/ the DP. The BTS, well you'll know it when it doesn't go.

I love my 140 Smoke.

The only time I really had any turbo surge before is when I was towing, either up a grade or while I was excelerating, at the higher end!
Thanks
