dead off the bottom

I have a 94 ranger with a 3.0L and it is a dead pig it stalls up to 2 times wihen its cold and then when u get on it its dead until you get up to the 2500 RPM range then she runs better but after I put a new EGR valve it ran worse and the check engine light comes on even more now can any one help me

Sounds like timing to me, could also be a vacuum leak.

weve checked all the vacums and it only doe sthe stall when you first start it in the morning the rest of the day its fine

Another thing you may want to check is your fuel pressure when this is happening. also you need to reset the KAM by disconnecting the battery over night or for at least an hour.

there are no codes it just comes on and stays on for most of the driving trip and is off when i start ther truck at a latr time but i hasnt been coming on as much since i only run back and forth to school which is lik 10 minutes
