I have an 87 BII Eddie Bauer. 4x4 2.9l 5 speed. I also have a 77 F-100 4x2 that does not currently move because i need a piece of frame welded on. Can the Coils from the F-100 be swapped onto the BII to lift the front of it? The rear already has either 1.5" or 2" blocks and air shocks. If this idea doesnt work i will buy coil spacers but im trying to be cheap for now cuz i need to buy a whole new exhaust(headers, cat, oxygen sensor, pipe, tip.) And redo the ignition and fuel systems. I think the coils on the F-100 are only an 1" larger(could be 1/2" but it was a hard thing to measure) in diameter in about the middle of the spring but i think the bottom is the same where it is mounted to the twin I beam suspension.
When I lifted my F-150 I swapped my old springs into my Bronco II. You may have to modify the spring mounts because the spring ends are a lilttle different between the two.

No, not really. The springs on the older F-100s are WAY bigger then the BII. Both in height, width, and coil wire size. Then you have the issue of the angle of the springs and getting your brake hose squished if you do not hold it out of the way with a bungie cord.
