I cant find the wire to hook it up i know it use to have it when i was a little child but now that its my truck i cant seem to find the wire that goes to the tranny for reverse. Ok It use to have 3 on the tree then i put in a np435 and i want to fix up the reverse lights so anybody know where i should look at to find the wire for it? Thanks maybe a wire diagram?

You mean the wiring harness from the tail-lights does not have a wire (Black /red stripe) for them ?

I am sure back at the tail lights there is one. I was just hoping to find the wire ran allready by the transmission. I dont really know how its hooked up does the wire go straight from the tail lights to the transmission? Where are the wires ran through out the vehicle?

The harness for BU lights to the switch carries a POWERED wire and a Signal wire to the bulbs. when the transmission is placed in REVERSE..the power is allowed to pass thru it and back to the bulbs to illuminate them.
Once the Trans is taken out of reverse..the switch No longer allows power to flow thru it.

does anybody have a part number for the backup light switch shown in the picture above? I have been to all of my local auto parts stores and nobody has it, or even lists it. the ones they do have are totally different.
