I am getting code 238. I am running stock program and have not been into throttle. What would the syptoms of this code be?

 

If you are getting it during a KOEO Test
DH 11 CHECK MAP SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO POWER

If it is just coming on running down the road
DH15 CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT CIRCUIT FAULT
Clear continuous DTCs.
Grasp vehicle harness; wiggle and shake while working from PCM to MAP sensor.
Retrieve continuous DTCs.

 

Other than an ses light what would the symptoms be?

 

You may notice a mileage decrease or your truck could de-fuel even if it isn't over boosting. Most likely one of the wires going to the MAP sensor has a chafe in it.
