you would think that in this world today of so many collectibles that there would be at least one website where you could find old or discontinued custom wheels. i am looking for two wheels like the ones i have on my truck. i have been told that they are not AMERICAN RACING but, might be MODERNS or BOYD'S. nonetheless they are not made anymore. closest i can come to for new ones are ULTRA 50's. if anyone knows of a sureshot website or individual that is knowledgeable in old custom wheels please let me know.
those look like they could be Cragar wheels, but dont match any i saw on their site, but if its a discontinued model, they might be ebay-able.
hope that helps
Is there something written on the center cap? Looks like an Ultra style cap, but the wheels is slightly different.
yes, it says ULTRA. i bought the set of wheels at a garage sale with no caps. took them in to get mounted and they put those caps on for me. i might try 'WANT IT NOW' again. tried it before and got no response.
On the ultra's, they are very similar, but the outer part of the spoke spreads out more than his. I think you might be onto it with the Panther's though. Nice find, if so.
This is supposed to be the Panther you mentioned. VERY close if it's not.
