1973 Shop manual
Has anyone purchased one of the Ford Truck Shop manuals on CD? I keep trying on e-bay to purchase one, but keep getting out bid and the CD's look pretty cheap. I'm just wondering if the quality of the printed page from these is as good as the original manuals.

I bought one for my 77 and my son bought one for his 75. We are both pleased with them. I printed out mine for a shop manual to use at home and I take the CD with me when I travel. The only problem is the CD has to be in the computer to run the menu programs. I would like it better if I could just load the program into the computer and leave the CD home.

i have the 78 version from detroit iron and use it all the time. it is great especially when u take everything off your truck you have the exploded assembly diagrams to reference too. the solution to not have the cd is using nero or some cd burning program and make an image of the cd and then download a program that can run the image, it works like a virtual cd drive...plus u have the cd backed up if it ever gets scratched you can still access it
