Computer color codes, any help?
I'm working with a program on the computer, a flight simulator, and it reads codes for colors in this format:
That color is, best I can tell, pure white or very close to it. All I need is the code for pretty close to pure black, if someone can help me with that one.

In the FWIW category, the FFFFFF probably stands for 256 values or levels (0-255) for the
red - green - blue - intensity (also called contrast or brightness)
So
ff ff ff ff =
255 255 255 255
or max red, max blue, max green, max bright
Max red with max intensity for example might be
255 000 000 255
or
$ff 00 00 ff
You can arrive at HEX$ values using CALC (start/run/calc) in Windows. Example 1/2 of 255 = 127 = $7f
So medium red would be
$7f 00 00 00

Thanks rebocardo. This really isn't my stuff. I'm great with computers, but never bothered to learn anything of this sort, since I haven't really run into any time when I've needed it.

Thank you very much. It just kinda came out at me, since everything else I've done with this program is in the R,B,G format, and suddenly I got this random stuff.
