I am a new to this truck so had a few more question.
Anyone converted the headlight to hid's?
I read all this stuff about the engine blowing headgaskets then I see where other I running upgrades with no problems.
Any safe power upgrades?
I was thinking of doing the banks system (big hoss?)
I am just looking to improve the millage and get more power off the line.

Congrats on the X first of all!
Also, I have heard mixed things about the HID conversions. I've heard that they do better in the newer style jeweled headlights than they did in the older style headlights, but I'm not for sure. I just upgraded to 80/100 watt bulbs and a harness, both of which helped.
As far as the diesel tech stuff goes, I wish I could help, but i've a V10

FWIW, I heard that retrofitting to HIDs is illegal according to The DOT. There is no retrofit HID system that is DOT compliant. Only OEM ones qualify. You could run into inspection troubles if true.
