99 7.3 Liter Died???
I am just trying to get some ideas on why the work truck died. This truck is a 1999 7.3 liter, and I don't really know that much about it. It has some mods ie. chip, exhaust, intake. It is driven daily over a mountain pass between Idaho Falls and Driggs, Idaho. About a week ago on the way back over the pass, with no trailor or load in it, it just died. The guy driving said he lost all power, the truck just shut down. They waited a few minutes and it restarted they completed the drive back, and it has driven fine since then. Any help or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Sounds like the CPS, you can get one from the ford dealer for about 25.00. Here is the link on how to change it!! Wecome aboard
