I would highly recommend it. If you want a good cheap one try hewitt gauges and talk to Dale. You probably should do the intake and exhaust first. they will not harm anything and will give you good power. The intake can be done real cheap but the exhaust and downpipe will be a little more. Maybe the same price as the chip you are talking about. You may get the sam power as the chip as well. If you are in ET I can help you some. Yes you should have a pyro with any chip. $150 is much cheaper than an engine. Chances are temps won't be much of a problem but especially if you have stock intake and exhaust you should have a pyro. I doesn't take long to get out of hand.
