ok, thanks, i believe i am getting this, but it needs new tires, do you think it would be dumb to put big(er) tires on it, not huge, but just a little bigger, like 4x4 esque, i know its harder on wheel bearings and such, but would it look dumb?
Nope....wouldn't look dumb at all.......in fact it would fill your wheel well a little more and make it look even better.....Just my opinion. Minimal issue with bearings and such unless you go wild with spacers and things . It will ride different......might feel you need new shocks after it though.
I get 16MPG around town with mine .... and the 4.9L has a great record for service over 250K miles, top speed is not great around 88 or so, but I don't want to be hitting over 100 in a truck anyway.
does anybody know where the lug wrench and jack are on this truck,
and
how do you set raidio stations on the stock ford radio, do you just hold the button in or what that didnt seem to work?
also
does anybody know if herculiner is worth a crap, in the bed, i know its not as good as line x or rhino, but is it worth doing it, will it chip out really easy
I put 31 BFGs on my 2wd long bed and it made the truck. It was sharp before, but it totally made it tough. The next week my cousin had 31s on his truck too. And this was after everybody told me it would look bad. I say go for it
