Driveshaft
Truck guys arn't so worried about their weight as cars are...so the demand is quite low.
Heavy duty shafts on the other hand....you should be able to find easily enough.
I am actually looking for any tricks for MPG for my 1991 F150 4x4.
I mean by reducing rotation weight? from the powertrain.

ps... do you have any good sites for a decently priced, good quality rear shaft?
Thanks,
Tony.
Tom Woods custom driveshafts....or anything else you can find in a google search...are the only ways I know of.
got some other odds and ends put back together (fitting on the EGR) and got it running...
...tried to drive it away and under light throttle it will drive ok but when I give it any gas it starts shaking and vibrating through the driveline.
Hope I didn't blow the rear end or the transfer case. If so it better be the transfer case...I just built that rear end a few weeks ago and I have a spare TC.

That doesn't sound good at all...
did you check to see if you got the Ujoints in correctly or they might even be bad?
I know when I have had Ujoint in the rear shaft gone bad... it vibrated horribly at 55MPH.
Please keep me informed of the situation.

I got it up to about 40-50 mph and noticed my speedometer needle was moving around a bit....
...it's the rear end.
Time to open it up....again.
3 weeks ago I pulled the axle and replaced everything except the ring and pinion gears...sandblast/painted...and clearcoated the axle. UGH!
