Dumb question
OK thes are probably two really dumb questions but . . .
In an engine cylinder 'bore out' does a 20 thou over size mean the cylinder's diameter is increased by 20/1000 of an inch or the cylinder's radius is increased 20/1000 of an inch?
In a V8, is the 'deck height' the height from the centre of the crank to the 'flat top' of the engine where the manifold goes on, or from the centre of the crankshaft to the top of the cylinder bank, where the head gasket goes?

Radius is only half the diameter.
