Headlamp Upgrade Complete. Now......
'99 headlamp buckets with '94 mirror styling. Installed DFuser harness to accomodate the Sylvania Silverstar lamps - nice white light! - really sharp looking!
Now...can someone refresh my memory as to the --proper-- headlamp aiming procedure for a '99 truck? - or do I need to do something different because I now have the Silverstar lamps? I'm hoping for something a little more than simply: "aim'em until you think they're right". The new buckets have vertical and horizontal adjusters (4mm hex) and one nasty-looking phillips-head screw adjustment (diagonal adjuster??) in the outboard upper corner of each lamp.
I've searched the www and this forum and still can't seem to find anything specific to the 99-04 trucks - and nothing (so far) about aligning with the Silverstar lamps.
