I have been checking my mileage for the last two months to post a new thread on the results.Pulling my camper and also a pair of Sea-Doo's behind the camper,4 tanks of fuel to check consistancy.I got 11.3, 11.0,11.4 11.4.In town 15.6 was the average from several tanks of fuel.I also was able to take a trip unloaded not pulling on the hwy.2 tanks of fuel provided 18.2, 18.4.These results was without the tuner and no fuel additive.I am very peased with these results,my truck has 67000 miles at this time.
I can get about 21-24 mpg ac/on at 55 mph with, tuner, intake, cat delete, 4" cat back no egr, hard lid cover, 70 psi in tires, and 15-40w royal purple.
Last month I drove from the Fresno area to Phoenix at between 70-90mph with a couple of stomps on gas and was burning 16.4-16.7 mpg. Topping of tank and then dividing amout of miles driven by the gallons it took to top off again at the next station. Had to stop 3 time cause my cusin took his new 07 duramax and it only had a 26 gallon tank.
Towing my 34' from Fresno to Pismo I get between 8-12 mpg.
I forgot to mention my av.speeds.Towing 68 to 70, hwy empty 75 to 78.My egr is pugged up.Matt is mailing me my tuner back so I will give the same info with the agg. street tune instaled.
I got 20 mpg at 65 going from Denver to Amarillo just last week. Totally stock '07 6.0L w/o the ac running, fuel amount was based on what I needed to top the tank off again. The mileage was within +/- 5 miles of what four of our other cars have read (we stop at the same station every time) and is almost what Rand McNally says it should be. It had 150 lbs of me along with a duffle bag in the cab, so it was definatly not loaded down at all. When I made the same drive going 75, I made 16-ish mpg.
My 05 Harley 6.0 has 55,000 miles on it and an S&B filter with the tow tune from SCT. My stock tires (20's) also have 55,000 are almost bald and have the rolling resistance of a greased pig. Getting 22+ was really painful like letting off half a block from a stop sign and slowly rolling into the throttle. I didn't even let the truck warm up just hit ther road keeping my rev's as low as possible. I think 22+ is very doable but it does takes the patience of a monk.
Since I the drive to work each day is 88 mile round trip I tried it just to see how much mpg I could get.
I also have royal purple in the transfer case and diff's. I didn't mean to imply that I get 22+ with normal driving. Terrain here is flat too with smooth roads. My EGT's stayed at about 675 deg with tranny temp about 165 deg. Ambient temp was in the mid 70's. I don't know if I have the patience to try and do log at 60 and 65 but if I do I will post the info. Oh yeah and fresh coat of wax
I just purchased a used 2005 F250 with 128k miles on it.. The lie-o-meter tells me i get about 13.4 driving around town, getting up to maybe 45 or 50mph max (lots of stop and go)
Thats not too bad but we need to know if the truck has had any mods,exhaust will heLp alot aLso a tuner.If you are interested most people on this site choose SCT.call MATT at 828-606-3263 ask him all the questons you want and make a good desission on were you would like to be,[PERFORMANCE ,MILLEDGE ECT.]
22 TO 24 don;t sound realistic,first of all the my truck get less mileade at 55 than it does at 65.Are you useing a calculator or the li-o-meter.
I drive the same 464 miles on each trip one way and have set my cruise and driven the whole way at different speeds to check my mileage. I am running a stock 07 6.0 torqshift, 373's here are the results not towing
55= 20.7mgp
60= 19.2
65= 18
70= 17 or 16.8
75= 16.4
This is a combination of flat and mountain driving from Sacramento California to Drain Oregon on interstate 5 most of the way. Truck only has 5,000 miles on it and haven't checked while towing yet. Oh and no tuner bone stock everything all hand calculated. I noticed the in dash computer was always reading a lower mpg than I was actually getting.

Great info,after looking at my notes I REALIZED I made a mistake on the quote.My truck does about the same as yours at 55 to 60 mph.20.1,my egr is pugged up and the stock tune was in at that time.I recieved my tuner back today and I loaded the econmy tunein that Matt wrote for me so I will be doing another round of miledge testing,,,,
