I am thinking of purchasing a BD exhuast brake, and I was wondering if anyone has used one on-board compressor to run both the exhaust brake and air bags. I really would like to just have one heavy duty air compressor that could run the exhaust brake, air bags, and a tank for airing up my tires. Any ideas or feedback??
if you go to Pacbrake.com click manuals, then ford exhaust brakes look for the PRXb version it comes with compressor, tank coil hose, we don't have the air bag lit up on the site yet buy I can e-mail it to you along with the instructions if you pm me

The compressor we include with the brake kits will be sufficient to work with your airbags but I do recommend a tank with it, I like the Firestone kits and stock them if you are interested.

We have not developed one... we use the Firestone tank and compressor kits and sell the brake without a compressor at a discounted price. We try to keep it simple and inexpensive for the consumer.
What does your adapter kit come with that the Firestone compressor and tank kit does not?
With the exhaust brake and tank kit you have the option of the gage, switches and mounting brackets, all you do is run your extra lines and fittings pop in the in-cab gage kit and wham-O You have an all in one exhaust brake/air management/air suspension system. That works great and is inexpensive to boot.

That is just like the firestone kit I am referring to, sorry if a I am misunderstanding you but is that what you are using; the firestone kit with Gauge and switches? or have you developed your own similar set up?
We make our own kits, bags, brackets, ect. I'll send you some lit if you want, Who know's you might want to become a Pacbrake dealer
sure, send the info over I will forward it the R&D department LOL kidding..
I would would like to see your compressor tank kits, I do find the Firestone kits a little pricey. As far as becoming a Pac Brake dealer I am not sure I could move enough kits with are BD Brakes in stock. Have a good weekend, its Miller time, see you on the #1 hwy.
