To bad others think their products are for only the rich & famous, LOL.
Hopefully little by little parts are being repop to bring the cost down and allow the every day folks an opportunity to buy.
Mitch
Just a hint, I got mine for my 65 F-100 out of a 64 F-600. The BIg Old Iron seems to be cheaper because nobody wants them. I bought a truck for 200 bux that had a good hood, rad support and grill.
Wow, John was not that far off, unbelieveable, that rad support on ebay went for $500 plus not including shipping. I keep a spare rad support and set of inner fenders for my 65 fearing if were to sell them I would get into a fender bender shortly after. Don't come cheap but can be had, wonder what my limit is, $500 plus sure is enticing.
$535.00. I bet if Flashback Tom had it, he would have it priced at $700.00.
John
Meanwhile here in sunny rust free SoCal, these parts go wanting. A local long time (since 1929) dismantler/wrecker just scrapped over 50 1961/66 front clips. He had them for over 30 years, hadn't sold a one in 6 years, and he needed the space.
That's just Duckie Bill. You being the friend that you are didn't tell a soul about it either.
John
I didn't find out until Col Flashman and I went there several months ago. First thing I noticed was 20' racks full of rear axles, where the front clips were originally stacked up. I would have said something...hell, I would have hauled some home had I known beforehand. There are still some 1961/79 doors and a few misc NOS fenders, but that's about it.
I tried to get a junk yard run going to this wrecker several months ago. The owner would have opened on Sunday, but dispite several announcements here on FTE, only 4 ppl expressed interest. They don't know what they are missing, even tho the clips are gone, there's plenty of goodies left. I've been hitting this yard since 1967.
Welcome to California.

Now John I know your not picking on Bill. I have in the past reported local yard sightings and offered to pull parts, pack and ship. But have gotten no response. Must be a timing thing. Typically I can get core supports in decent shape for less than $50. In the 10 or so times a year I go yarding I'll see 8 or more slicks. I just haven't had anyone say grab this or that for me while your there, wich I would gladdly do. Rich.
I see ppl here looking for 1957/60 panel truck rear taillamps. This wrecker has several dozen = NOS. I made mention of this months ago. No one responded.
Here's the scoop. Ford takes back parts from dealers under their Parts Inventory Program. Some of the parts are Code 3, which are parts stocked only in Detroit. Rather then ship the parts back, Ford disposed of them to a shreader operator, who in turn sold them to this wrecker. When Ford moved production from Long Beach to Pico Rivera years ago, all the accessories and other misc parts ended up here, too. The obsolete returned parts and the Code 3 parts went here for over 30 years (till 1978).
Y'all can't imagine the goodies that were once here. Over 1000 windshield washer kits, 1000's of factory hang on air kits for 1962/64 Galaxies. 55 gallon drums full of power window and seat motors, 100's of front bumper guards for 55/56 T-Birds. Grilles, bumpers, sheet metal, yadda yadda yadda....all NOS.
What happened to all this NOS stuff? I found the place in 1967, that's what happened. I bought and sold most of it, at swap meets and in Hemmings....but left the truck stuff, because up until recently, there was NO demand locally (except 1953/56 F100's).
