I just turned 29 a few day ago, but I have a deal with god. I won't ever turn 30.

I'll be 59 in just a few days. Been driving diesels for years, and gone through more than a few engines. I'm pretty happy with the Stroker though.
Not to hi-jack......some Dems are so far to the left they're coming around to the right. And some Reps are so far to the right they're coming around to the left. It's a confusing world out there.

BTW Earnest, do you calculate everything? Can you calculate what will be left for me when I finally retire if I ever get there?
Yes I do, and it's people like you that makes my life difficult! How do I enter "40 something" into my equation for average age and expect to get accurate results? I try hard to make all the equations and models that I post on FTE as accurate as possible, but us engineers have a universal model that predicts "garbage in = garbage out"! Come on, give, how old are you?

Regarding your question "what will be left for me when I finally retire?", I'll be happy to email you some retirement planning spreadsheets I've put together, but you'll have to input more accurate data than I've got something like X$ to retire on to figure out how long your nest egg will last.

I noticed you're from VA. You must've goten my old job after I retired in 1999. Sounds like you're ex-military and got one of those cushy Beltway Bandit deals in the Wash DC area of VA. Now you can afford the care and feeding for a vintage 7.3L PSD, and keep the V10, if you must, as a grocery hauler.

Easy there, fella. Some playful poking is one thing, but foolish name-calling is another.

What and where did you buy? The wife and I have been talking about getting a new 5er in the next few years or so, and I know that IN is the place to go for any of the many models built there. We've got a 1998 Holiday Rambler that's doing ok, as long as the duct tape keeps sticking.

I won't get into this -- my last post on the subject here. There's nothing "factual" about calling somebody a name. I'm proud of what we've done over the last several years. The economy is stronger than ever (seen the Dow-Jones lately?), and I've got more money in the bank than I ever have. Looks pretty darned good to me.

Strange coincidence? We do it on purpose to make your life difficult, lol. So for those who care, I am 44. I guess a 45 guestimate for 40s would have been a good swag eh?

BTW, tone down the polital BS before this post gets closed and Earnest won't be able to log a good representative 7.3 age model.

I'll be at the big 5-0 next year (Ernest, that's 49, to be more accurate). For awhile, I was wondering if everybody in this forum was young. I'm glad someone's older that I am.
