if you went thru the trouble of putting bondo on the dent + front leading edge, why didnt you cover the rivets? your doing the work anyways ,why not finish it off? i have seen scoops put on with screws evenly spaced + exsposed, that looks ok but its not for me, now dont get me wrong your doing a good job but if it was me i would go that little bit further and finish it off
I second rsalter66. The front looks good but it still looks unfineshed, the best body mods are the ones that look factory. even if its a hood scoop.
Looks good tho. I'm still partial to justshootme's shaker, I never get tired of looking at it and it looks like a factory option cause it's so clean.
79-400, the cowl hood scoop looks great, nice work. Did you cut an opening underneath it through the original hood? I found that you can cut away quite a bit without losing much strength, as long as you leave the rear, main support rib intact. JSM84
