Question

About the ECT, are you sure you are using the correct connector for it? Aerocolorado had a similar problem recently. The correct plug is black in color, and there is another pinkish/brownish (heck, I can't tell the color anymore) but otherwise identical plug that's not used.
What are you referring to as the ECT? There are two wire connections for the tester. They are connected together by cap.

obdI code 133 is not valid for an Aero V6 ECU
what year and engine do you have?

try reading codes again

for a 93 Aero may be code 33 which is the EGR valve not opening
which can cause a warm engine rich fuel mix problem

You guys amaze me! (in a positive way!!!!)

Anyhow, the O2 sensor problem, do you have an exhaust leak near the y pipe or infront (closer to the engine) of it?
I say that because it sounds like your running rich due to over compenstaion by the ECU ,initialised by the O2 sensor which is reading a system lean condition.
Also if the ECT sensor is not giving the ECU 160* f, then the engine will effectively be running on choke for cold engine (engine may not go into closed loop fuel control).
Replace ECT sensor & make sure no exhaust leaks.

Aeroman.

saiter, the code you are geting is the first flash=1 telling you to get ready for codes. the next flashes are 111 then 111 again. system pass. try getting codes with KEY ON ENGINE OFF.
i had this same problem recently on a 94 3.0 and it turned out to be the ECT sensor. an easy $25 dollar fix. there is a way to check resistence on the sensor with a volt meter, but i dont know how. search forum.

Ok, sounds like a MAF sensor problem to me. Disconnect the MAF sensor, and if it actually runs better, then there is something wrong with the MAF.
