I Got The 53 To The Point Where I Can Physically Drive Her Yesterday . She Over Heated On Me And In The Diagnosis Process Found ThaT The New Thermostats , The Left One Wasn't Opening . Still Gonna Run A Compression Test On It Just For Peace Of Mind But As Of This Morning I'm Driving Her . Gotta Take Her Up To A Buddy's Radiator Shop He Works At And Im Gonna Have The Entire Cooling System Flushed Out. I Just Put Water In It Last Night To Make Sure I Had No Issues And It Almost Immediately Turned To Mud From The Rust And Other Crap In The System From Sitting All Those Years . Shes Got A Throw Out Bearing Whining In Low Gear And Alll Sorts Of Clanging Banging , And Other Assorted Noises And The Brakes Need A Tad Bit More Adjusting , :-x03 But Away We Go !!!!!!!!!
First drives are always fun. The work on my sons falcon has been real intense this last week. It's really close to back on the road after almost 2 yrs. It's been running the whole time just all tore apart for body, paint, and interior. I'm down to bolting in the passenger seat, align the front fenders, install the front bumper and grill, and get the rancid gas out of it. The tags went on it yesterday and it gets insurance today. The goal was to take it to our local cruise night last night but it just wasn't ready. Ah but next week......
