Holley "Thunder" Supercharger
:-X23 The fact that FORD and many other manufactures (gm, jaguar, mercedes, etc.) choose Eaton is a pretty good testamony. Just keep in mind that Eaton doesn't market kits, much less deal with individuals. For that you can visit their web site where they list companies that sell kits that include Eaton compressors.
Please don't missunderstand, Holley makes some great products and I am sure that their superchargers are no exception, I am not sure that the make them for any of the "MOD" (4.6L, 5.4L, 6.8L) motors though?
The main (only) differance between the supercharger installations in the lightining and the new Harley Davidson F-150 seems to be the RPM (size of the supercharger drive pulley) with which the compressor is driven and the total amount of boost (5.5 PSI vs 6.5 PSI ?) and how that relates to the total power output.
As always there are many trade offs to be had with any upgrade made to your motor. Do your research carfully and you will be in a better postion to chose the compromise that best suits your needs.

I am not shock at all by Holley's claim to having a better performing supercharger setup then the stock lightining. Of course that's as easy as getting their unit to produce more boost. You could do that with the stock setup. Just change stock pulley size (spin blower slightly faster)& recalibrate bypass valve to produce a couple more PSI. I think Holley might be just a little LESS concerned about the longevity of YOUR blown motor then Ford is of their Supercharged engine.
