This is probebly an easy one for you guys. While I was cleaning the valley I noticed my hoses are cracked all around. The ones under the fuel filter housing. These hoses dont look like regular hoses. They look like maybe a high preasure hose. Where can we buy these? Does anybody know the size of the hoses. They look like maybe 3/8", but a pretty stout 3/8" hose.
I have been following the other post (the loosen bolt ) And I thougth I feel alone here in my Country because there are not to many PSD and parts, but in Germany it must be worse.
Here are the parts numbers for the THREE (3) hoses
Fuel Hose, BLUE (Aeroquip FC498-06)
(Ford) F4TZ-9324-CA, 3" Long lift pump to filter inlet
(Ford) F4TZ-9324-DA Shorter than above, Filter outlet to High Pressure (piston) pump inlet
They are 3/8, but You should need another 5/16.
It has to be rated at least for 250 psi and good for diesel, and some temp degrees (i dont remember) but someone chime in later.
Congrats, be safe, regards.
Here is another date for the hoses: Aeroquip FC332-06 , 3/8" rated 250 psi, 17 bar. Same thing that ford will sell you in little packages, cost sky high. You need 3 little aeroquip hoses - 2 about 1 3/4" and one shorter, - the 1 3/4 " hoses are ford part # F4TZ-9324-CA , the part # on the shorter hose is F4TZ-9324-DA.fficeffice" /><O></O>
anything else that meets SAE J30R9 specs.<O></O>
