Vacuum hoses...again
I know that this has been asked many times before but i will ask for help anyway. My buddy's 78 F150 with the 351M runs like crap. A previous owner removed the air pump and all of the related hoses. The 2 PV valves on the thermostat housing were empty and the distributor advance was run to the port on the passenger side of the carb (factory by the way). EGR valve is there but no hose on it as well as the EGR control valve. I have capped all open ports that i can find. I have run a vacuum line to one of the PV valves and am running the distributor advance and the EGR off of it but don;t know if that is right. I may block off the EGR and leave it. It certainly won't hurt it compared to the way it was.
I have all of the diagrams and i am trying but any thoughts would be appreciated.
