I've heard some oft he dodge boys talk about the Con FE and it sounds like its not to practical for everyday driving...like thers no slipping it its either engaged or disengaged
Kwik jus jumping off my own topic i took a look at ur gallery a while back and noticed u had a switch attached to the side of the shifter and another i belive behind ur pedal and since im new here jus wondering wats that for ...
The switch on the dash and on the pedal cluster are wired together in a dual resister 10k mod that varies from 5.6k down to around 2.25. It's handy for a little extra burst of power when you need it.
Here's how it is wired.
And here is a picture of the pedal assembly. The switch has a roller that closes the switch at about 1/2 throttle. It's adjustable and I found that if I have it come on too soon then the throttle has a twitchy response.
Hey good news i got the clutch today ...to tell the truth i was kinda excited when the UPS guy showed up ... hopefully ill be on the road again buy monday ...Oh and kwik that switch seems kinda kool but what im still confused as were u get this added power from sorry about the all the questions ...it just seemed u put it there for a reason an i just had to find out...
ooh oh and thanks AMJPerformance for helping me out...

interesting very interesting ... the only thing im wondering is the same thing luvemhot is thinking as to weather it would be a benifit to do if u are looking to purchase a tuner in the future ... might be something to think about doing until i get my tuner ...
Dan is the 10k mod worth doing if you have a tuner?
IMO, no. When they write the code for the engine program they assume certain perameters. Look at Ernestugene's mathmatical posts. Engine programming is all like that X1000 or more. If you don't have the right foundation to work with: resistance values, fuel pressure, HPOP volume, etc , then the final result is usually not as good as intended.
It is a good trick for getting a little extra fuel injected for a stock tuned engine.
so i finally got my truck back and man wow what a difference that southbend is... that thing is so easy ... but bad news was almost everything was broken or worn i honestly dont know what happen there ... as far as taken pictures i did so but when i pulled the pics up they look horrible you cant make anything out on them so ill just have to wait until i get another camera...
