Code Reader - Fuel line
95 Ranger 2.3, manual.
Will my vehicle store a failure code for no start?
Is there a tester that will pull codes - code reader for everything including the no start situation I have currently.
I am unsure if there is a code reader that will work on my vehicle being a 95, most advertised are for 96 and newer.
Example:
Designed to retrieve diagnostic codes in all OBD2 (1996 and newer) and some of the most popular OBD1 (1981 to 1995) vehicles
Ford, Lincoln, Mercury – 1983 to 1995 models with EEC-IV Systems
Is that possible for under $200.00 that will work on my vehicle and newer models.
One that I can depend on. Somewhere not strictly online purchase, Pep Boys, Salvo, NAPA, Parts America?
Is there anything special ( compatibility or special or extras ) I should look for in a code reader?
Example: What are these test?
Performs: Cylinder Balance Test, Output State Test, Wiggle Test
I though I was diagnosing a vehicle not a dancer, wiggle test?

What type of tool and where can I get it to disengage my fuel line to change the filter? One side is the simple push pull clip, the other side I have been told requires a tool which pushes inside the connector and disengages a lock system. When I look at it, there seems to just be a tiny white washer.
