Lets just say this i want to smoke out a a 4 lane freeway! lol, im gonna put the dusted forged motor to the REAL test in about a year, its a slow building process, im startin on supporting mods. This past weekend one of the steel line on top of motors got rubbed through since it was hitting the intake manifolds. I did a temp fix of a piece of FI line in the bad area. I aint buyin that line from fords, and i gotta wait to make the lines for Regulated Return.

Yeah, the fuel line running from the bowl to the rear of the head on the passenger side. I did not want to mess with it at my buddies house, since it looked as if my down pipe would have to be removed. So im cut the bad part out and used rubber line to replace the bad part. Yea PMS is a killa right now....I told him its gonna be at least a month or more until i can buy that pump, im just wondering now if thats a pusher pump, or a stock replacement. Im brewing my own RR to save cash.

Just thought I would throw some tidbits your way. I have actually worked with them on some of the design aspects of the pump. The one from the Dodge will be little more than a pusher pump for the PSD. They are internally regulated, and for the Dodge, it will either be a 15 or 18 psi regulator spring inside. They are more than able to be a primary pump, but you will need to replace the regulator spring. Problem is, if you open up the pump it will void the manufacturer warranty. So a few options are, you use it as a pusher pump for the OEM ( a waste in my opinion), you send it in to DPP(FASS) and ask them to upgrade it to an 80 psi spring, or I can do that as well, and honor the warranty as well.

Its off his old PSD, so would it already have an 80lb spring inside? What is the warrenty on that pump?

DOH!! Guess maybe I should read a little more closely. It still will not have an 80 PSI spring though. Depends on what the kit was that he got. It gets pretty confusing real quick. They have about 20 different pump kits for the PSD, some are made to replace the OEM pump, some are made to assist the OEM pump. The HIGHEST pressure pump they sell for the PSD is a 60 PSI unit. Most of their PSD replacment pumps are only 50-55 psi. I don't like that, but they are basing it off of OEM spec for the truck, and spec is 51psi +-4. I don't like that regardless of spec so I custom order mine at 80 psi, which ususally comes out to be about 76psi. They track the serial number of ALL pumps, so if you let me know what the serial number is, I can likely find out exactly what pressure that pump was built at. More likely than not, it came with a 4 year warranty. They have recently bumped that up to 6 years.

Thanks FN74, when i get the money to buy it i will give you the SN. Do you think 200$ is a honest price for it? Can you modify the pump to bring it up to 80psi? All i know is he paid like 400-450 for the pump, and they way he had it hooked up was to assist the stock pump, but IDK if it was designed like that or not.
