John, I wouldn't even bother with that line unless you have no future fuel mods in mind. Keep the temp fix until the replacement system because you are apt to have a leak, it is only about 50-60 psi anyway. Those gaskets suck and Pete said it has been outside. Great offer BTW Pete. Now if you are planning on keeping the stock fuel system, fat chance from what I have read, then go ahead and install that. Have a look at my stored indoor sealing stuff:

Im afraid that since i used rubber fuel line that it might melt or something being on top of the motor right next to the intake manifold. What do you think? I would love to just keep the temp since i want to homebrew RR on my truck, i can get the lines made for RR, i just need to buy the regulator. The temp repair line is double clamped. Im just afriad of it melting(been driving a week and it hasnt), or worse blowing.

As long as it is fuel rated 30R9 or a comparable pressure equivalent it should be fine. You could always put some convoluted tubing over it. On my 30R9 5/16 hose, I put spectre hose sheathing on it and even topped that with spark plug boot protectors in the back by the turbo where they go into the head. Here you can see I have pulled the boot protector back to get a pic of the fitting.

I don't know what he is doing , for sure, but this just made me realize I have yet to finish my DIY fuel system writeup. Dammit. It is hard to get some clear pics of the fittings. I was in the engine compartment today doing something else and snapped this pic. It shows the braided line and boot cover a little better. Crappy camera. Man, excuse that dust. That much since I cleaned it before going to Smokin in April??

On Edit: I guess that clears that up. Took too long to upload the pic.
