Replacing A/C Belt?
Hello! I have an '81 F-250 4X4 with a 400ci motor and I just got my A/C charged back up and running nice & ice cold, but I was told by the guy that put the freon in that the A/C belt needed to be tightened. I checked the belt myself and notice it could use it as well, BUT the belt actually looked a little old anyway and since I have a long Texas summer ahead of I thought I would just go ahead and replace and then tighten the belt myself. Can anybody tell the best strategy for taking on this task myself? Like what tools and maybe a little walkthrough? Please please?

I haven't worked on a '81 for a long time! Lol If you have a standard socket set you should be able to loose the bolts so that you can replace it and re-tighten it. You shouldn't need any special tools.
