98 Escort
I just bought a 98 Escort LX 4 dr and it didn't have the keyless remote with it.
Is there a way to tell if it's equipped for one?
I found that Amazon.com has remotes (new from Ford, they say) and they are only about $30.
They also say that the VIN number will tell if it has keyless entry.
I've not been able to find anything on the internet to decode that part.
Any Ideas?
