Cool Door locks

I have a `95 F-350, crewcab. the left rear door lock actuaor went out on it, I replaced it with an after market actuator. They sent the wrong linkage, I changed it to the original and the actuator worked about two months and went out again.
My problem is, the door is closed in the lock postition and I can't get it open to work on it. Any ideas? Thanks, Bill

Sorry, misunderstood your predicament. Yeah I would agree with the poster below, sounds like your old option is to pull the seat. The key won't open the door from the outside? That mechanism doesn't involve the electric actuator. Now if you're linkage is incorrect then you could have problems...

You might be able to just remove the door pannel if you pull the seat? Pat

The rear door doesnt have a key lock.
You can PULL the door panel real hard. but the clips holding it on will prbably break since you cant pry the panel. Did you try to use a 'slim jim' through the window and the weatherstrip to open it?

Locked door

I appreciate all of the suggestions.
Her is what I did to get the door open;
I was able to reach around the side of the seat and screw the three phillips head screws out of the door, screwed the handle screw out and was able to pop the right side of the door panel out. Then I pushed the seat forward as far as it would go and was able to reach under the panel on the left hand side and pull it out. After removing the panel, I could then reach the two pieces of linkage to open the door. Now, what I am wondering is, does any one have an easy way of pulling that actual solenoid out of its bracket. I don't really want to drill out the solenoid bracket again. Thanks, Bill
