suspension compatibility

I have a 93 f150 and have the opportunity to pick up some 3" lift front leaf springs off an '80 f250. Could these springs be used in the rear of my truck?

You might be able to take them apart and use one of the leafs, but they are different than the rear springs.

I know they're different, but is it not possible to remove the old spring pack and put these in its place?

as long as they are the same width there will be no problem. You may have to experiment with the hight some to get the amount of lift you want.
