Mirror Housing

I've got a broken mirror housing on the passenger side of my '01. It's got the power mirrors without heat, (the kind that extend out). It had a hole knocked in it when I got it and it's really starting to crack out from the hole. It still works fine and I was wondering if you can just get the housing and transfer the guts from the old mirror into a new housing? Maybe the best route would be to just get a used mirror off of ebay. BTW, what plug does the '01 mirror have, round or rectangle?

I am pretty sure you can buy just the housing. The plug answer I don't know but I'm sure someone who does will be along shortly
