Bed liner question
Hey guys i have a quick question. I have some light surface rust in the bed of my 1972 f250 longbed. I am planning on putting in one of those do-it-yourself bedliners. Do i need to contain the rust before i put the bedliner on?

yes you do, is it surface rust, or has it eaten away thru the metal. if it is surface rust just sand down to bare metal, and primer the area. if it eaten thru cut it out about 1-2" around the infected area, then weld in a piece of metal, then primer the area. if you cant weld you can pop rivet a new piece in and use metal type bondo and sand smooth and primer. that is what i would do.
