What gearing do I have
Hi Everyone,
I just bought a '93 F350 with the 7.3 non-turbo Diesel with the 5 speed manual. I'm trying to find the gear ratio. Can't find a tag anywhere, the door sticker says 45 under the axle portion. I'm guessing this is the 4:53 if it's stock?

There is no 4.53 that I'm aware of. Most of them are either 3.55 or 4.10, but your code 45 is an oddball one. I think it's a 3.73 ratio, but check the tech articles section here. There's an axle decoder that may help.
