fordboy, those numbers dont seem to far off. i have the same rig as u but with different mods. i dont see alot of city driving but on highway i usually see 16-18. i have got 19.8 a few times on a long flat no wind trip, but i just cant get her to 20. i drive like an old fart and it drives my girlfriend crazy, but id rather slow down a little and make good MPG than speed it up and get poor MPG. although there is the need once in a while to smoke out a rice grinder or two.

I have a 2003 crew cab 4x4, no lift, 265 tires, edge juice w/ attitude, edge evo II, afe stage 2, mbrp cool duals, automatic tranny. I have tracked every tank of fuel since I bought my truck on 08/10/2006 and have averaged 17.96 since that day.....I usually drive reasonably.......with only the occasional lead foot.....I DO NOT use cruise control unless on the highway, this made a huge positive impact for my milage. When I used cruise on the hilly backroads the truck would accelerate incredible agressively uphill. With the combination of my tuners It is supposedly +75 hp on the juice and +60 on the evo totelling +135 but who knows.....its plenty fast for me...not really...but its plenty fast for my wallet!!!!!!!!!!!

I checked to make sure, the ebps has been unplugged on my truck for 50,000 miles or more, so I dont think thats the reason for the mileage drop. I hoping for more input though on what top clean or check. Oh and mine already has the hutch and harpoon mod done to it.

Unplugging it could be the problem. I remember a thread about this a while back (I think ernesteugene started it). That sensor is used by the PCM to determine some important parameters, like fueling. I'd get a new sensor on eBay or wherever's reasonable (if you don't have one), clean the tube or bend up a new one, and see what that buys you.

I was thinking of trying that, but its been unplugged for a long time and I was around 15 reg. and would some times see as high as 17 if it was highway and have not done any mods or changed anything, so it kinda makes me think theres a maintenance issue that I might be missing. Could the new lowsulfer fuelcause this severe of a drop?

Yes it does. I have noticed a loss of 1mpg in my normal everyday driving, and apparently that is just with the LSD.

Try running some DK and see what happens.

Heres a update, I just did a trip 0f 307 miles all highway. Hand calculated I got 16.5 mpg(307miles 18.5 gallons used). The only change I did was add diesel kleen to this tank. As all along I ran the cruise and the rpms according to the digitel gauge in the edge was 1950. I believe that is a realalistic mpg expectation with the 295 tires and the leveling kit on the truck. I will try another tank now that I am back into my normal everyday driving routine and see what the diesel kleen does for that,I am hoping for around 14 everyday driving out of this truck and at one time I had that with no problem usually higher.
