sometimes it will read 100 psi (blows warm) on the low side then other times when it blows cool it reads about 45 psi

45 is what it should read with compressor runnng,100 is equalized pressure with compressor off
at this point it's hard to tell if problem is low pressure or maybe clutch air gap
you need to run system until it starts blowing warm,clutch will be disengaged
at this point tap clutch face with stick or screwdriver handle and see if it reengages
