Intake "hiss" sound

Since installing a K&N intake system on my F150 5.4 I have noticed a hissing sound when I let of the gas. Is this normal? If not, what could be the cause?

no idea,, check with shop who put it in,, many truck shops screw up.i bet its not even hooked up right. and u how much did u pay?

Intake "hiss" sound

After installing a cold air intake you will hear a bit more "hiss." You are hearing this because of the open element air filter. It is normal.

yes this is normal.. have done it to a 4.6. also added the spacer plate with a cold air intake. makes a lound hiss sound.. you will get used to it.
