Injectors wont open?

I have a 1990 Bronco. The fuel pump works fine and has ample pressure, but it wont get fuel into the cylinders. I hooked a compressor hose to the fuel line and still cant get fuel in there. Is there a sensor or switch that can go bad? I also put a meter on the injector wires and it indicates that there is power getting to each injector. Cant figure this one out......any ideas? thanks

The system works by the computer grounding out the injectors to make them open and allow fuel to pass. You are right there is always power to them in a normal situation.

First thing to check would be for codes. Then depending upon what you find, that will determine the next step (s)

I would take a look at your fuel pressure regulator.
