finally done

well the ole 400 is finally done but not without headaches from the machine shop, they have a new guy doin the head work and he cut the valve seats with a real rough 45 degree angle, when we started to set the valves and whatnot we found that they werent sealing, so had to take em back off and send em back to the machine shop in town to have a nice 3 angle done on em, plus when they decked the block they didnt take into account i'm using a 1.72 comp heighth piston from tim meyer, so they stuck out of the hole .020, so that nesseaciated a new block, which they supplied, i havent had it fired yet but i'm hoping to this weekend, thanks for all the help and heads up on these "*******" motors. and i'll get soem pics in my gallery

At least you've got it done. I've still gotta finish my build. I think I know now why my engine builder won't machine things until he has a sample, in essence he won't bore until he's got the pistons, won't cut the valves until he has an intake and exhaust valve. It's annoying and takes longer, but everything is done right.
