Thumbs up por-15 WOW!!!!!

All I can say is wow. This stuff is incredible.I just finished my third coat on my oil pan, overkill really, and I dont think I have to worry about my oil pan ever again.I started a thread a little ago about other options but I'm glad I took your advice.I bought the starter kit from thier website($18).Came with everything I needed rite down to the rubber gloves.Side note:You do need the two chems that come with it,I wasnt sure at first. One says marine.Anyway the instructions are very well written. The process is easy and it comes out looking great.More importantly it doesnt look like any salt or anything else is going to get at my pan.I'm so impressed I'm going to order a gallon of the stuff and do the whole underside.Oh and by the way the starter kit comes with just a 4oz. can.Was a little worried about haveing enough.Well it turns out I only used half of that and I put it on a little thiker than I was supposed to.I also took the advise of one of you to put a surgical glove between the lid and can to seal it up better, good idea to whomever came up with that idea.So if you were on the fence about the stuff get off it and buy.good luck and thanks all for the advice.

Yes.first I simple green and scraper. Then I wire brushed and wire wheeled it with my grinder and wire wheel installed on it.Then I used the chemicals and followed ther directions completely.Grad somed 200 grit sandpaper from the hardware store. For the painted surfaces.I did the whole pan.It sounds like more than it is.It was really simple.Good luck

Just a note about the surgical glove trick, an easier trick is to turn any paint, glue, whatever can upside down. The material inside then seals around the lid to keep air out and the solvents in. I do this for paint, PVC glue, liquid tape, etc...When you do this the stuff last almost forever on the shelf. Glad the Por-15 worked so good. I'm trying to decide between that and Rust Bullet for the frame and parts on my rat-rod '55 F-100.
